Dr. Mike Hopkins, president and CEO, has over 30 years experience as a college professor and consultant in health and human services. He is a professional geriatric care manager with membership in Geriatric Care Managers Association; a certified Behavioral Case Manager; an accredited professional consultant with the American Consultants League; a licensed assisted living and residential care facility administrator.
Dr. Hopkins has written training manuals in the area of aging and mental illness; served as trainer for the Long-Term Care Accreditation Board; developed a model home for the elderly and disabled as a teaching laboratory; consulted in the development of housing projects for the elderly and mentally disabled; provided elder care services for corporations to meet the needs of their employees; provided geriatric care management services for families and individuals; provided behavioral case management for mentally ill individuals residing in long term care facilities; served as a litigation consultant and expert witness in long term care.
